I have a question. My dh and dds 8 and 4 are going on our first trip. 5 days long no park hopper and I plan on doing each park for a day and mk for 2. Will Epcot keep my 4 year entertained all day?

They used to have kid stations at the world showcase for kids to color pages and make things... Maybe too young for the perry game but Nemo would be cool and the aquarium is nice.. Turtle talk with crush...they do have characters at the character spot and throughout the park... How about a boat ride? They have boats along the world show case lagoon and it beats walking all the way back to the front..

Sorry didnt mean to send that yet lol. She'll love a boat ride and the character. What is the kidcot thing?

The World Showcase has lots of opportunities for character photos & autographs...Merida, Snow White, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Marie (from Aristocrats), Belle and the Beast, Jasmine & Aladdin.

Does she like princesses? They have the best princess hunting of any park. It is my kids favorite park. Has been since they were 2 and now dd is 7 And ds is 4. They love going up in the ball. Donald Duck ride. Princesses, Duffy, nemo ride. They love it all!

At each country there are coloring stations. The kids get a Duffy cutout on a stick and they can stop there and color in the Duffy. The CMs at each country will also place a special stamp on the stick.

You can also buy an Epcot passport and the the passport stamped at each country. Usually the CMs write a greeting in the passport in their native language.

When my daughter was 4, she loved Epcot. I think one day we spent 2 hours just hanging out in the Seas pavilion. There's also a fair amount of entertainment value for little kids at Innoventions, as well as in the Imagination pavilion. Plus acrobats in France, Drums at the African outpost, the band in the UK (is that still there?) and a playground in Mission Space. Even without riding the headliners, there's a full day of fun for little kids. And it makes for a relaxing and enjoyable day just taking in all of the smaller experiences.

I agree! Our DGS 4 has a great time in Epcot.

Epcot is my kids favorite park, and has been since my son was 4 and my daughter was 6. We will typically spend three out of a seven day trip at Epcot.

My oldest is 4 and he loves EPCOT. He enjoys the Seas Pavilion, Innovations and World Showcase.

EPCOT has been DD's (7) absolute favorite park other than MK since she was 2. When she was 2, we spent one day there from open to close and realized we did not have enough time. Since then, we spend 2 days there every year. When she was little she would have ridden the Donald Duck boat ride inside the Mexico Pavillion in circles all day if we let her. There are a ton of characters in World Showcase (a lot of Princesses) and several characters in Future World as well. There are also entertainers all throughout World Showcase. There is Nemo and the Aquarium after it, Turtle Talk with Crush, Journey into Imagination and the play area after it. If your older DD wants to ride Mission Space, they have an inside playground area where the little one can wait. Don't underestimate how much little kids like The Land ride. DD was tall enough for Soarin and Test Track at age 3. She loves Soarin. There are the kidcot stations, and you can also buy passports if you want and at the kidcot stations they will be stamped from each country. If you want to spend the money, the Pick a Pearl in Japan is a really need experience because they do a little cermony and make a fuss. If your younger one likes Phineas and Ferb at all, she may love following your older one arounddoing the Perry missions. I don't know where you are planning to eat, but DD ranks Biergarten right up there with Princess meals. It has a German Band and a dance floor and kids go out and dance when the band plays. My DD was even really impressed with the movies in the countries at that age- especially China where the movie is all around you. There is ton to do there.

Our 4 year old loved Test Track better at age 4 than he did at age 6. He also loved the Spaceship Earth ride. He did the Norway and Mexico boatrides also. You should try the Agent P missions. I bet your 8 year old would love it and the 4 year old would probably enjoy helping to find the clues and wake up the features. Once our 6 year old found out what they were, we had to do every one of the missions. We split them into two different afternoons. I think I looked them up on youtube to get an idea what they are. Germany was my favorite one.

Don't forget to hang out at the toy store in UK. Pooh and Tigger visit the back of the store every few minutes. You can wait in a line and get pictures with them. Also we met Mary Poppins near the UK.

Have fun!

8:35 far right turnstile.
8:46 enter park, goofy might be casually walking on your right. He will stop for a photo with your girls.
8:55 in line for test track.
Head over to Nemo ride.
Be in "line area" for turtle talk 10 minutes before the show starts, don't leave the waiting area.
Manatees feeding upstairs.
Stop for a few soda's at club cool.
Be on the far left of the "world showcase" at 10:55.
Head to China, Mulan will be waiting.
Husband doubles back for fast passes at Norway Maelstorm.
Head to Morocco, stand in line for Aladin and Jasmine.
Head to France, Belle will be near the lake.
Husband heads to the French bakery for kids treats and you'll want him to bring back a vodka slushy at the cart 30 yards from Belle.
Head to England, Mary Poppins & Alice in Wonderland awaits.
In the rear most store in England you'll find Pooh and Piglet.
Living with the Land, Figment and Spaceship Earth are all nice slow rides with low waits.

I thought I read that this was Miyuki's last week at Epcot. Someone posted in another thread that she is leaving. :(

You're correct rebbyparker. It was announced in Aug. I wasn't stalking the boards then like I do now. Guess I'm glad I know now instead of when.I got there. I only was able to.see her once but it was.so.cool. Wonder what the new entertainment will be.
