going to disney in october. planning 2 days mk and 1 day each at mgm, ak, and epcot. saw where living seas will be closed, is she too young to enjoy epcot. doesn't seem like their is much to enjoy for her. so should i spend the extra day in mk or another day in mgm.

We just went this June and DS was 2 1/2 at the time, he loved Journey Into Your Imagination with Figment, we rode it about 3 times. We also rode the two boat rides in the World Showcase. He also loved doing the children activites in all of the different countries. We used the parent swap on a couple of rides, and let him play in the water fountains, etc. We took the time to meet the Characters on Holiday Bus, and get some great pictures. It was a nice easy day for us, without all of the rushing at MK, trying to get everything in.

Hope you have a great trip! :wizard:

We actually saw more characters in Epcot then we have in the other parks.. I guess it just differs from time to time but check each country... I know Pooh and Friends are hidden in the toy story in England.. my little girl always gets extra time back there b/c a lot people don't know about it... have fun! you will love it!

there is a great thread right now on the theme park board about epcot with little ones - things mentioned are kidcot stations, penny presses, performers in in each country.

last time we went my boys were not quiet 3 (it was about 1.5 months before their bday) and we only went to the living seas and luch at the garden grill. this trip they are 5, and they are very excited to see the different countries. dd who will be not quite three at the time of the trip doesn't really get it.

DS played for a long time at the fountains next to the Imagination pavillion! Then he enjoyed strolling around the countries. Don't miss the railroad garden hiding next to Germany!

I agree that we found Epcot to be much more relaxing than the other parks. We didn't try to do a lot, and DS enjoyed being out and playing where it wasn't very crowded (like the fountains).

My DD loves Epcot!!! (All my girls do really.) But the younger one loves making her mask at each country. She decorates it a little at each stop. She also enjoys going in to see that "country" so she knows a little about each.

And now, her new favorite ride is definitely Soarin'!!!!

Epcot is best enjoyed strolling around!! Take your time and enjoy!

Epcot is great! My daughter loves it and went when she was 3yrs and again at 5yrs. She liked spaceship earth, the leap frog fountians, the penny press was great when she was 3yrs old, the boat ride in Mexico, and lots of great stuff...and she ate her way around the world with us. She thought that was fun! So did I! I never thought she would try so many foods.

What is the railroad garden, is it hard to find? I have a 4 year old who is crazy about trains.

We have ADR'S for PSB on 10/24 @ 9:50. DD4 is so excited and I'm not sure how long we are planning on stay in Epcot. We plan on going back to MK for Wishes & Spectro. How many hours do you think it would take to tour the countries and see the kiddie stuff w/out getting to tired to stay up and watch the magic @ MK?

It is between Germany and Italy, right along the main walkway. You can't see it well at first, but when you step closer you can see the trains running around.
