Anyone have an idea on when Disney will post SPECIFIC information? Like what chefs will be there and the dates and times. I sure hope Paula Deen will be back...we missed her last year...waited in line and didn't make the cut to get in. That was disappointing, want to plan better this year!

Can't wait for the specifics!! We're hoping to make a quick trip if Chef Rick Bayless will be back this year.

Wahoo!!! I'm excited that I have an idea what days I can book stuff for my trip!

Anyone have any info on the scheduling of the Eat to the beat concerts? I'd like to make dining reservations but don't want to miss the concerts.

Has anyone done the Food and Wine pairings? How is it? Might try that this year. :teeth:

Has anyone attended any of the lunches or dinners as a vegetarian? I went to Party of the Senses a couple years ago, and although it was fun, there was almost nothing for me to eat....

10/09 South Africa Dinner at Jiko – A Cooking Place
10/16 Australia Dinner at Citricos
10/16 Bistro de Paris , France
10/23 Dinner at Citricos
11/03 Jiko – A Cooking Place, Flavors of Africa
11/06 Pacific Northwest dinner at Le Cellier Steakhouse

since I posted this some hours ago -- are you sure of these dates? :)

I did the Italy Lunch a few years ago. It was definitely worth it.

As for vegetarian, I know the Italy items were pre-made, they are much different than party for the senses.

I've never attended the F&W Festival and am looking foward to attending some of the events. Is it necessary to book before you arrive at DW or can you book events/special dinners on site with Guest Servcies?

If you have any other tips on how to enjoy the festival experience - it would be appreciated! :)

ReneeDisney: You can book when you arrive at WDW if there is any availability for the events. The F&W Festival is very popular and many of events that require reservations sell out quickly, sometimes on the first day. If there are any events which are sure you want to atttend, I would recommend making your ressie on July 25.

crazy4wdw -thanks for your response! I will make sure to book on July 25th! :)

I've done almost all the venues that offered them. I found Marrekesh's to be boring, and the wine was too pungent (and I like dry wines!).

Coral Reef and Le Cellier didn't disappoint from year to year, and I believe
these are the only two that have menus that change for each pairing.
The others may have a set menu every time they have one.

The sushi and cold sake at Mitsukoshi was new, and I enjoyed it very much.
(But I love sushi, so it was good for me anyway!)

If I can't get into some of the "biggies", I'll try for the Coral Reef and Le Cellier
ones first.

YAY!!! :cool1: Thank you for the update!! :flower:
