Epcot Food & Wine 2003

ghidorah97: I went back & found your posts from last year about the F&WF & your dinners. They were great. But, you said
"Later today, our last day and our California Grill Signature Dinner!
". I couldn't find it. Did you post it? If not could you tell me about it? Sorry you were so sick. We were there last year @ that time also. The ice wine is fantastic!

This will be our first time at Food and Wine. We are only able to enjoy it on the 18th or 19th as we leave on the 20th. Can anyone give me details about the $85 event on the 18th? Does this inlcude all the tastings around the world. We don't want to go to a specific restaurant for the food and wine parings. We wondered if there was an all inclusive type ticket to go from country to country??? Any thoughts or suggestions what we should do these days. We have 3 young kids which we plan to put in the Neverland Club for the Saturday night so the 4 adults can enjoy! And yes I am enjoying some fine Niagara wine now while I am writing this post!

That's because he just posted it a few weeks ago.

Here is the link

The $85 event is the Grand Tasting and it is in one location

It is now called the Party for the Senses. It is located at World Showplace which is the old Millenium village, located between UK and Canada.

MichelleTO -- I think the Food & Wine Festival lasts only until November 16. That is according to Deb's website.

Ed,

Thanks for the backup! :D Being on the road as much as I am makes it difficult sometimes to stay up to date on the board...

Morticia, glad you enjoyed the posts. We really had a great time last year despite my lack of health for a good portion.

For all those who may not know as yet, WDW has significantly increased the number and variety of "special" events for this year's FWF. Big kudos to management for recognizing the HUGE demand for these dinners and events. Just some of the new activites for this year:

International BEER and Food dinners (Yeah!!!) :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Lunch & Learns with celebrity chefs

increased number of Food & Wine Pairings and Reserve Dinners

Banfi Italian Wine School

Australian Wine School

and more....

Does anyone know if you can get the pretzel breadsticks with the cheese soup at Canadian booth?? I always wanted to try both.

Vine Ripe Tomato and San Francisco Sourdough Bread Salad - $2.00

:) This was our FAVORITE dish at the Food festival. I even convinced a group of older men from Italy to
try it
-thought it sounded "unusual".

TwingleMum,

They weren't serving the pretzel breadsticks with the cheddar cheese soup last year, but then again I didn't ask for one, so who knows...

I will say that the soup all by itself is tremendous (went back for seconds!!).

We are timing our trip so our first day in the parks is the last day of the FWF. Sounds like a lot of fun.
