Hi again

We are going in 2007 at the end of september and early october. I know the dates for the Epcot food festival arent out yet but they tend to keep them at similar times. I am now worried it will be really crowded when we go. Have I picked a bad time? :confused3

You have booked a great time to go and crowds are low at this time of year - have no worries!

It's a wonderful time to go. The schools in the US generally start from mid-august so the period through September and October tends to have lower crowd levels. :)

The Food and Wine festival itself is great and I think it really helps to bring the best out of the World Showcase in EPCOT. I think you will have a great time :teeth:

You have picked a wonderful time to visit. The Food and Wine Festival is an excellent experience and really brings the best out of the World Showcase.

We always go Oct/Nov and this year are going for 5 weeks - it is so good! The Food and Wine Festival just adds to the atmopshere. Trying all the food from all the little stalls is great fun. Most of the seminars and demonstrations are bookable and are not heald in the middle of the park so don't interfere with other guests. The only time we found it a bit odd was one Saturday night. We were having a meal at the counter service restaurent in Morrocco and at the next table were some young men who had obviously tried every beer in the park! They were a bit noisy but not threatening - it was just so unusual to see that kind of thing in Disney. Saturdays nad Sundays are marginally busier than the rest of the week but we thought that was locals. However there was no harms done and it certainly didn't stop us from booking again this year.

I agree with edenlee the food and wine festival is great. It is quieter this time of year, but saying that its still seems busy to us brits but this adds to the atmosphere. Go book and enjoy.
