How is the Food and Wine Festival if you don't make any reservations? We were just thinking of doing the appetizers around the world.

I did that last year! I started at 11:00 a.m. as soon as WS opened. I worked my way completely around the WS, eating at the booths. It sufficed for both lunch and supper. I can't wait to do it again in two weeks!

That's our plans too. We love to sample from each booth. It's plenty of food. Have fun!!

If you can, make it a weekday; the lines are much shorter.

We haven't been able to eat all around the world in one trip. So we go another day and go the opposite direction. :)

I will be there tomorrow.

Anyone know if they posted the menus for the booths yet?

We're not planning to eat in any of the Epcot restaurants during Food & Wine....... we'd rather enjoy all the offerings at the booths. If you're spending all day in World Showcase, you might make it all the way around the world --- we only made it 1/2 way around for dinner, so went back another day for lunch. We really take our time and 'people-watch' a lot while we snack.

I'm doing this today :) I'll post the menus and pictures when I get home tonight in the Restaurant forum.

Can anyone wager an "educated guess" as to how much it would cost to sample our way around the world during the F&W Festival?

What I would do is watch Allearsnet.com Deb generally gets the menu posted pretty quick and will have the prices. Then you can see.

The price range of items is usually $2-$4. There will be about 28 food booths, ofcourse you may not eat at all of them.
The first weekend tends to be very busy.
We usually only make it half way around before we get full.

On my trip last year, I spent around $30 (this was just for me). The samples averaged $3.00...some less, some more. The real test for the amount you will spend, will depend on how much wine you consume...:)

I agree that $30 per person is a reasonable estimate. If you skip the wine/beer, you can probably get by on $15-$18 per person...
