EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

Has anyone been able to find/book the sampler package online? I was able to book one of the mixology seminars and the only other thing I want is the sampler package. If I have to call, I'm going to wait a day and hope for the best. :hippie:

Sampler Package has to be booked by phone, at this time at least. Good luck!

After several all circuits are busy got through around 7:10 and put on a 101 minute hold. Listened to Disney Hold music on my way to work. Finally got through after 70 minutes and was able to book the Mediterranean F&W paring for 10/28. I've been to F&W twice before and this is my first time trying an special event. I asked the CM about info on the Premium Package but she did not seem to have any info on it and she was happy when I told her I would check into it another time.

Haven't been able to find it online at all, which is disappointing as the CM I spoke with when I tried to prebook it said it would be available to book online. I figured this would be the case though. On hold now to try to book it. Sigh.

Called at 7:00 (6:00 here) got in with both phones within a minute of each other. One was 4 minute wait, the other was 2.5 hours wait. The 4 minute wait was pretty much on so we went with that. Got all we wanted with having to do only 1 alternate date.

- Italian Reg Lunch Oct 26,
- Wine vs Beer Oct 27
- Italian Food and Wine Pairing Oct 29
- French Family Meal Traditions Oct 30
- Parisian Breakfast Oct 31,
- Med Food and Wine Pairing Nov 4
- Mexican Tequila Lunch Nov 5,
- French Family Meal Traditions Nov 6,
- EPCOT Sampler Nov 9 (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy)
- Morocco Food and Wine Pairing Nov 10
- Trattoria al Forno Siganture Nov 11
- French Family Meal Traditions Nov 13
- Parisian Afternoon Nov 14

How many pounds will we put on???? It took around an 45 min to get it all booked with with only a couple of go backs. We had some with 2 people and some with 4. This is our 12th Food and Wine and we still find it exciting.

Second time through the queue, my CM says all Premium Packages are sold out for every week in October. I told her I didn't believe that, and asked her to speak with her supervisor. Same answer after being taken off hold. It is completely sold out for all of October.

I just got through. No Parisian Breakfast on 10/17, 10/24 or 10/31 or 11/7.

Now she is telling me there is no availability for any date of the Parisian Breakfast

So anyone wanna guess my chances of actually being booked for my culinary demo on October 12th? My credit card has been charged but there is nothing in MDE and the CM I spoke to today said there is nothing showing under my name or email. She say's it may be under my TA so I guess I will email her and ask. I didn't get a confirmation number so have no way of tracking that.

2 phones calling at 7. One called WDWFEST one called WDWDINE. DINE got in at 7; 45 second silence then announcement of 50 min wait. FEST got right to the announcement of 130 min wait.

We got our Parisian Breakfast reservations for 9/26. Premium Pkg and Sampler packages had not been loaded.

NB on the premium package - change from previous years - no $50 gift card this year. Wine glass/tote/wine bottle/access to premium seating area/gofers for food are still there. You get 4 chits that can be exchanged for F&W kiosk items; the chits and access to the seating area are limited to a single Mon-Thur period. No mention of additional nighttime events or seating for the EttB concerts.

Why didn't the call center mgmt ramp up capacity for the mobs of people they knew would be calling at 7AM? Why was everything not bookable at once? Why not give TIW/AP/DVC folks early booking windows to *everything* so as to minimize the rush for the general public?

Why do we put up with this nonsense? Because at the end of the day Disney has our money...

I would not believe that even if it came from a supervisor, reason being there is so much information or rather misinformation being given out about it I suspect the true answer is they have no clue so it is easier to say it is sold out. Once again it appears they didn't exactly plan this out and are now backtracking to fix it.

If you aren't able to get your choice the first time you call, try again. I just got Italian luncheon on the third call after no availability the first two times starting at 7.

Wow I'm told Parisian Breakfast is not available but other people are able to book it? I am going to call back

Still not buying that. Unless the amount of packages offered was VERY limited. Obviously they were not ready for this package to go live. They released basically nothing about it beforehand.

After an hour on hold, I finally was able to book the Tasting Sampler package for 11/13! If the CM can't seem to find it, it is set to the 6:45 ETTB concert time.

Sold out means "when I go to book it, it says "NO" " and honestly to the CM that does look sold out. They don't know that "no more booking" means "your bosses are idiots" LOL!

Why should Disney hire more people or fix this? Until we vote with our $$$ there is no incentive. (And I am part of problem too LOL!)

But the Premium Package seems really stripped. You lost the extra event (Sorry that Illuminations Desert Party is just pathetic and now they are going to cram a lot more people in there LOL!), the gift card was replaced by 4 chits (Assuming $8 that's a $32 value an effective loss of $18) and your only addition is a different Tragic Band then last year's special band. Plus by allowing anyone to book they are probably definitely upping the number of bodies in the areas.
