HI guys
I'm not new to the Dis boards but I'm new to this board. My name is Tracy and i'm a huge Disney fan and I scrap mostly Disney lol. First walk, first tooth, first x-mas ha not before disney trips lol

anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows a font for EPCOT Not prototypes or ravenscroft but the way it is written on the front of the park map.

I have found Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and MGM now i'm working on Epcot. (mind you I can't remember what i used at the moment but I know I have them lol)

Thanks Tracy

Hi Tracy
I love to scrap Disney too and I love to use the fonts that correspond to my pages. I love www.mickeyavenue.com They have alot of free fonts. They are listed by park--there are alot of them. Have fun. HTH Deb

Hi Tracy I see from looking on that website that they don't have the font for free. I did google Epcot and found the logo for you. It is the one with the globe in it. I have printed it out and cut it out and used it for a page before--it looks pretty good.Deb

thanks for the info I have over 17000 fonts. I probably have it. lolRight now since I can't find a font that says epcot the font with big C "eating" the globe. I opened my the font thing and found the E in 1 font, the p and t in another the globe in another I'm just working on the c now. lol
do you know the name of the font you are talking about I might have it.
Thanks Tracy

ok i'm a total dork today...I used to know how to download fonts...& now I can't remember...I keep messing it up..quick lesson anyone?

I don't know if this helps but my DH has asked me not to download any more fonts because they make the computer run slow. So heres what I do. I find the font I want to use then totally open it up. Then I minimize all the screens to the bottom of my screen. Then I open my MS Word. Then go to the font list and the font will be there, usually in alphabetical order. Use it and then shut it down and you won't have to download it. I type out the name of the font and the site where I found it--using the font to do this--then print it out and save it so I can find it again if I want. I hope this was clear. HTH Deb :confused3

your hubby is correct. to many fonts clug up the computer (just like to many pictures do) Don' put them in your font folder in windows because that is what makes your computer go slower.

I have way to many fonts to leave on my computer. what I do is I download fonts I like into a font on my desktop which I made other folders in (#'s, A, b ,c etc). after I download a font I put the font in the folder it belongs. if it starts with a number it goes into the # folder, if it starts with a letter it goes in the letter folder it starts with.

after a while I burn a CD
then find thefontthing download that.
when I need a font I open the font thing and put in the CD then I type what I want and I can see how it is written in each font without opening every font.
