Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

Dumb question, but am wondering how much of F & G is set up in advance? Our day of departure is early 4/15, which is the first "official" day. We were there last year, and I would love to be able to tour some of the special gardens (the rose garden, butterfly garden, etc). Anybody ever been there before the official start? What were you able to see?

I'm not sure but I would think that some of it would have to be set up in advance. I can tell you however that they take it down very quickly. We were there three days after the last weekend last year and no signs of it anywhere.
