Hello,

I've just made plans to be in WDW in April. It's (mostly) a solo trip. I want to relax and spend some time learning to tackle some photo challenges. One of the things that I want to do is create a nice collection of images of the Flower & Garden festival -- so I would be glad for any tips you have in that regard.

Hi

I've been to the EPCOT flower and garden festival 3 times and had so much fun taking picutures. I love going a that time of year just to see all the flowers, topiaries and now the butterfly gardern. I've gotten some great shots of the butterflies. You'll enjoy itl

Take care

I will second the butterfly tent- definately a favorite. They also had a ladybug exhibit last year which was nice.

I would recommend using a polarizing filter when you go as well. It reduces the reflection from the foliage and will ad more depth and color to the pictures. If your camera cannot house a polarizing filter you can either hold one in front of the lens or shoot through a pair of sunglasses. :cool1:

I absolutely love the flower fest, so many displays to totally enjoy...don't miss the orchids in Mexico.
