What does this include? Is it only a flower garden or flower statues? We will be in Epcot on April 3rd and I see that someone from Designed to Sell is there, but what else is there? Anything specific I should look for or do?
There you go, a complete list of all things that will be happening. If you scroll down there are a few happenings that day, I know there is a concert and an American gardener there.
For us none of this stuff interests us. we just walk around and see the statues.
Actually a lot of that link is the 2010 festival. Still waiting for the 2011 festival guide (with map showing where everything is) to be posted online.

Dh and I happen to go to Disney during F&G a LOT - totally coincidence, but we love it!
If you want to take advantage of the extras, go for it - they're great! But even if you don't "do" any of the tours/concerts/classes, etc., you'll still be completely immersed in the festival. There are huge character topiaries EVERYWHERE. They use lots of different colored plants to create really cool colors (like hair or gloves or Bambi's spots). The photo ops are just amazing!
The lake will have "floating islands" of flowers dotting it everywhere - just charming. And the sloped areas, like around the lake, are carpeted with low-mounding bright flowers in great geometric patterns - swirls and mickey heads and flower shapes. And THEN, most of the countries in World Showcase have some form of "garden" - during F&G, they're often "enhanced". The garden in Japan had some incredible bonsai trees one year, and France often has a "fragrance" garden.
The F&G fest is just visually so amazing - so much color and decoration. The few years we visited in the fall instead of spring, Epcot just seemed so plain and bare I hope you enjoy it!
