Epcot Flower and Garden question

We will be flying into MCO late afternoon on Friday June 10. I have read the Flower and Garden celebration(?) at Epcot will be in its last weekend while we are there. We will have the last day, June 11, to see it if we want. My question is, will it still be as wonderful and attractive as I have seen in pictures on the last day, or will things begin to wind down (and wilt ) by then? We have park hoppers so it would be easy to hop to Epcot BUT DS really wants to attend the Star Wars events at MGM that same day.

We went in May 2004 and enjoyed the Flower and Garden show. The only thing we saw that was "past" it's time were the roses. This year we will be down there the 1st week in June.

I went one year on the very last afternoon and then the next year right in the middle of everything. I couldn't tell the difference. You might even find bargain on merchandise at the end of the festival.
