We will be a party of 6 - will it be possible to book a fireworks package at Epcot? Which is my best bet - R&C or Spice Road?

following this becasue Im going to do the same- my studies show that R&C has a better view- but the menu is more fun at spice road??? Dunno I wanna see how others weigh in

End of June and beginning of July there were two threads about booking Spice Road Table for the fireworks. One of the threads had a photo of the seating area at SRT that showed there were only 2 and 4 top tables and that they are on opposite sides of the aisle.

You would have to divide into 2 parties at Spice Road Table, either 3 and 3 (which would guarantee tables up against the railing for best view) or 4 and 2 (with the table for 2 across the aisle and under the eaves, view isn’t great from there).

We did Rose & Crown fireworks package a couple months ago and there were no larger tables against the railing (most, if not all, were tables of 4 around us, but they were seating parties of 2 at them as well) but I *think* there was a larger one toward back of patio. I don’t know if there is more flexibility in the table arrangement based on bookings/demand, but SRT’s tables have never varied in the multiple times we have done the fireworks package.

I had been told there were no parties larger than 4 - also, it is harder to get a party of 2 as there are very few tables for 2 (at Rose and Crown). When we booked last year, I tried to get a party of 2 for multiple nights. However, when I put in the party of 3 there was eligibility. As you have to prepay, I listed one as an infant, then called to modify.

As a party of 2 I was able to get R&C but it’s toward the end of a 9 day trip. It was definitely luck that I got an ADR.

I was one who has posted photos of both.

Spice Road has tables of 4 at rail and tables for 2 the row behind them. It MIGHT be possible to seat all 6 together by moving tables but I will assume that can happen only at the farthest tables at the outer rail. But they might not do it. Are you prepared to split up in to two tables. MAYBE they would let you move the chair to the 4 top after dinner is over, but it's a gamble.

There are tables for 6 inside the restaurant at the window with a view but I don't think they are part of the package and would be for regular ADR but it is a risk.

Rose and Crown has tables of four and two along the rail. At the farthest tables there are tables for four with another table maybe 3 feet back against the restaurant. When we have gone they put larger families there. When it was close to show time we could all move down to the lower patio to our corresponding tables. Those folks just pulled the extra chairs closer to the table on the rail. Now it might be they would just break you in to a table for 4 and 2 side by side and that would work out just fine since they are so close.

We have done Rose and Crown 3x post COVID and enjoy it. GREAT VIEW!!! I have never done Spice Road even though I love the food. The view is not optimal and I'm not paying extra for that.

This is Spice Road ~

You can stay at your table because they have the Dining Packages at set tables and they will not seat you there. Odds are not in your favor for a great view because outside you won't be along the rail and there is a roof over your head that will block most the view, inside there are some tables along the windows you might get and then you get some what of a view but there is an island in front of you.

This is the basic area they seat dining package folks, everyone else will be sat to the right and as you can see the roof will block most the air view.

Inside gives obstructed views, you can see the island compared to SE.

Those seats are reserved for the Dining Package if they are offering it. Outdoor seating not package is several rows in under the roof. Last time there they put up a rope the length of the patio so regular diners could not walk up within the area of the dining package.

In this picture you can even see the rope on the left ...

Just a few questions. Were able to book right at 6:00am on your booking day, as sometimes this package isn't open at that time? Also, did you book going through dining or enchanted extras? TIA

I tried booking at 12:00am through enchanted extras but couldn’t. Tried again at 6:00am through enchanted extras and was able to see days/times that were available (the new feature that lets you look at multiple days is great)! I had several days to choose from and chose to go on the 8th day of our trip. We’re there from 8/26-9/3.

Thank you so much for this update. I start booking next week so it's nice to have current information

I think I will try for R&C - and we are ok if we break up into 4 and 2. I am handling all ADRs and MDE, etc. Should I attempt a 6-top or is that a waste of time? Will I be able to book the 4 top and the 2 top at the same time (since you have to prepay, I would hate to book the 4 top and then not be able to get the 2 top).

We have done R&C fireworks dining twice with a family of 5 (two adults and 3 kids). I just went back and checked pictures, we were at a circle shaped table. Good luck!

You can change up seat counts also if you dont have luck. I was trying for RCP 1st and then SRT for 2 people. No luck. Then I entered 3 people and got a SRT slot. I then added in myself, DGF, and an infant. Still cost for 2 but the only way I could get the seats.
