I would have loved to go this trip, but with DS7 we just didn't think it would work. So I've been planning on living vicariously through some of you. Can't wait to see the pictures.
DD (7) is going to the sandcastle club so we can enjoy the party, would a kids club work for you? DD was begging to go for a night, so we figured we could endure a night without her.![]()
Dress is resort casual - no t shirts, tank tops, shorts (although I have seen some dressy short outfits over the years), tennis shoes, etc.

Wow, no shorts? That's going to be a tough one for Dh, it's still in the 80's here! I had figured on golf attire for him, so he'll have a collared shirt. Guess I'll have to pack some pants too. I had figured capris and a button down blouse for me, thats always a safe bet.

Since you guys are Gator fans, you should also note that jean shorts are definitely frowned upon at PFTS. Sorry couldn't resist!
We went to the 10/6 PFTS. It was my first time, and it was amazing! I met a group of DISers outside the event, and we sat together and took turns going for food and drinks, so we had no table problem. The food was incredible. I tried some interesting wines I've never had before ( Bunratty Honey Meade ), and tried the Utopia beer ( I was told it sells for 100.00 a bottle!!!! ). I saw a little bit of everything as far as the way people were dressed: park clothes, resort wear, cocktail dresses and heels. I'm already planning on attending next year

If you don't mind me asking: What did you think of the Utopia beer? What did it taste like. We saw it for sale at the Festival Welcome Center.
I've had this at the PFTS for several years now (although last year they ran out) - tastes more like a brandy than a beer due to the 26% or so alcohol content...and has hints of maple in both aroma and taste I thought...interesting but not something I would spend $100 on (and I'm a guy who buys lots of expensive and exotic brews).
