I plan on doing the F&W soft opening on Thursday sept 26th.. I have always started world showcase from the left starting w/ Canada.

My question to y'all veterans is which way is best to start... left towards Canada or right towards Mexico??

As well we will be doing Agent P mission in between for my DS4. (Don't know if that matters.)

Also it will be my first at F&W.

Thanks!

From Future World, Mexico is to the left, Canada is to the right.

From the International Gateway, the United Kingdom is to the left and France is to the right.

We will be there at the same time and I am hoping for the soft opening so we will have 2 days to sample the offerings. What we plan to do is figure out the booths that we most want to try and head the direction where most of them are located.

Omg I feel like an idiot. I know this I just 100% screwed up my right and left. I need to go back to school or something

But seriously anybody?? Do I start left or right no matter which country is first there :rotfl:

We always start in Canada too, but I've noticed that means we spend the first half bouncing around excited and the second half just wandering and by the time we get to Mexico we're tired. So I think for F&W its time to try the Mexico starting point! (But I'll maybe run over to Canada for some cheese soup first before the margaritas get involved!)

For us it just depends. Usually whichever side we are closest to. For example if we just rode Soarin we would start in Canada.

Mexico and Canada are two of the best stops in my opinion. If you are only going for one day, I'd figure out a way to hit both of them.

You always start right with a margarita and end the night in Canada with a reward if cheese soup. If you start with cheese soup you just end up peaking too soon.

We always go counter clockwise, so Mexico first. Dh gets a beer, I get a margarita and the kids get nachos. Can't go wrong!:)

You will have food booths before you get to either country. Last year I went towards Mexico so that I end at the dessert booth which would be to the right (I save it for last). I liked it better than the year before when I went the other way.

It took me 5 days to hit all the booths so I think it's better to plan ahead which foods you want to sample then you can plan your route.

I might have gotten done in fewer days if I had stayed out of La Cava.

:)

I hardly ever get away from the front in between Mexico and Canada. The restrooms are terrible here though. I wander off to the right when I do, I like the beer better that direction.

.

::yes:: another reason to go right, it is cheaper and I get more done! :). Oh that la Cava!

For F&W, we divide the WS into 3 or 4 sections and do one section each day stopping at each food booth and having one of each food item offered (splitting each item). That way we get a taste of each. 7 booths is about the maximum we can do in one day.

Go to the right. If you don't mind missing illuminations hit Mexico right before that. The most common path is for people to go straight Mexico for La Cava. During F& W it always has a long line so save it for last.

Why not be adventures and take the boat across to Germany or Morocco? Start from the middle and do the loop the worldsp showcase is a circle after all.

Just a heads up on Agent P. The game does have a 15 minute time out feature. Of your 4 year old gets invested you'll have to keep moving through the country you choose so get your drink then pick up the phone. That way you can enjoy your drink and explore the country. On the next country have one parent stand in line while the other starts the mission. Also leverage the training video. It will play at the start of every mission. Each time a video starts (you press ok) or a gaga goes off you get 15 more minutes so if you start a mission and realize you are stuck in A long line space put when you advance the game to the next cut screen. just a little trick to keep the little one happy and make F&W the best experience possible.

IMO, this. Grab a Rita and maybe (or definitely) a taco and go - and never ever skip the fisherman's pie at the Ireland before you get to Canada.

Thank you everyone for the awesome advice!!! :)

I will probably end up going LEFT (had to think about that :rotfl2: ) towards Mexico to get a margarita (fav drink!). :) ;)
