I posted this here and on the Restaurants forum (seem to be the two forums with F&W info) are you doing any of the Special Events for the the Food and Wine or have you done any? What do you reccomend? I got the pamphlet in the mail yesterday with all of the events (well I saw it here too, but it was exciting to get it at home!). I was thinking a lunch and learn and the sweet sundays sounded good. What about you?

The Sweet Sunday thing looks yummy and fun to do. This is our first time going to the Food and Wine Festival so we will just be taking in all the regular things they are offering. Maybe the next time we get to go during that time we'll try one of the extras. Food and Wine??? What's not to like! :rotfl:

We are doing 1 Party for The Senses, a Lunch and Learn (Ming Tsai), 2 Food and Wine Parings (Sake, Sushi, and Sashimi and Coral Reef) and the Spirited Ball. Hope we get them all! :jumping1:

I like the lunch & learns, the Party for the Senses and the pairings. I was not overly impressed with Sweet Sunday, but they've changed the format and it might be different.

My plan is two Party for the Senses, two pairings, the Lunch and Learn with John Ash and the Spirited Ball, which I hope turns out okay for non-couples. When the dancing starts I am no doubt heading out to the Adventurers Club.

We're trying for a Lunch and Learn and a Party for the Senses.

We were thinking about a Sweet Sunday event- but decided we didn't want to make EVERYONE at work hate us for taking Monday off too!

DH expressed an interest in Party of the Senses. It will be a quick trip for us, so there are limited events we can attend. I hope we can get reservations/tickets for it. I cannot wait to see the booths set up around Epcot. I am not making any dining reservations for the first time ever and it feels weird.

That what we did last year just kinda took it all in! It worked well and this year I think I have decided on one or two events in addition to the free offerings...now if I could just pick!

I hope so too. :earsgirl: I am contemplating attending the Spirited Ball solo. I will make my decision first thing in the morning.

My DH and I are thinking of doing the Wine School on October 28th and the Spirited Ball. Would do the Saki, Sushi and Sashimi on the 31st but we'll be too busy getting into costume for MNSSHP (dinner ressies for the castle at 5PM anyway.)
