Hello everyone!

I have a question about a dining reservation I made, I should probably know the answer to it but oh well :fish:.

So, I have an 8:30PM reservation at Teppan Edo in Epcot and the park is scheduled to close at 9PM. Obviously dinner is going to take more than half an hour so... what happens there?

Do they just let reservations overrun or will we feel pressured to get out the place so they can close? Also if anyone has a review or anything of Teppan Edo that would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Harry

You won't be rushed - the same goes for any late reservation in one of the Disney Parks. Added to that, because of the show element of it (the chef cooking the food on the hot plate in front of you) the meal naturally takes a certain period of time.

We enjoyed our meal at Teppan Edo - the food was good and the other six people at our table were nice. A big part of it is the experience though so having "been there, done that" we're busy trying other places before we return.

they don't rush you....when you're done you leave the park along with all the zillions of other people from all the other restaurants that continue after park closing..
i don't know about disney transportation though...we always drive to the parks, so it's not an issue..

Disney transport will always get you back.

We have left Epcot very late before and always got back ok!

Teppan Edo has always been about an hour when we have eaten so there will still be lots of people about.

Fireworks in Epcot are nearly always at 9, so by 9:30 crowds should be beginning to clear, but there will be plenty of people still in the park.We love Teppan Edo, been 3 times and always fantastic meal/ experience. Not too keen on the puddings, but then you don't really need one anyway as portions very generous. We found the Boardwalk a great location, really nice to ha e meal in Epcot then wander 'home'. Enjoy :thumbsup2
