Epcot - entrance to worlds

How do you get to the "back" entrance that just brings you to the world section? Do the buses drop you off near this area or are you at the opposite end at Epcot?

The International Gateway entrance is mainly for people who are staying at the Epcot Resorts (YC, BC, BW, Swan, Dolphin) or are walking/boating over from the Studios.

The World Showcase itself does not open till 11:AM, although you can come through the International Gateway and walk to Future World.

You can get to the World section by coming in the front entrance and just walking through Future World. You can exit through the International Gateway to access the Boardwalk and MGM, as well as all the Epcot resorts. You could take a cab, or bus to the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club or Boardwalk, and then take a boat or walk to the International Gateway.

The boats that serve MGM Studios, Swan/Dolphin, and Epcot resorts also stop at the International Gateway. There is no bus service to International Gateway.

Most people who are staying at the Epcot resorts simply walk to the International Gateway since there is no transportation from the Epcot resorts to the front gates of Epcot. It's a relatively short (10 mins. or less) walk from the Epcot resorts to the International Gateway.

FYI - the International Gateway entrance is between United Kingdom and France. As you are walking from the United Kingdom towards France, you will make a right just before you cross over the bridge. Anyone can utilize this "back" entrance. It's great to take a break from Epcot and see the resorts back there. There are also good food options available like the ESPN Club and Big River Grille.

You can also drive to the resort and valet park for the day, then use the International Gateway to enter Epcot.

Once you valet park at one resort, you can use the window tag for free valet parking at any other resort for the rest of the day. It can be really relaxing to park at the Beach Club and have the character breakfast there, head into Epcot for the day, go to Boardwalk for a couple hours after Illuminations, then pick your car back up at the Beach Club and head home.

No u have to walk thru Epcot to get to World Showcase & take a boat to the Epcot resort hotels
