Epcot Dive Quest vs. Dolphins In Depth

I was wondering if anyone has done these two tours and can fill me in on the good and bad of each. My DS and I are both certified divers who do wreck diving of the jersey coast. I’m not sure how interesting the Epcot Dive Quest would be compared to the type of diving we normally do. My DD loves dolphins so I was also looking into the Dolphins In Depth tour to do with her. Both are pretty expensive so I was wondering if people found them worthwhile.

I did Divequest about 2 years ago (I've never done Dolphins) and enjoyed it. It's far from a difficult dive (heck, it's barely a basic training dive), but it was fun being able to swim up next to the aquarium visitors. My wife has never seen me actually dive, which made it all the more enjoyable. I also enjoyed scaring the @%#$ out of the diners at Coral Reef .

I can't say if it was worth the cost, but it was definately worth the time, for me at least.

I'll be doing Dolphins In Depth in a couple weeks (with my wife - surprise gift to her). Booked with the Disney Visa card and got a substantial savings - $60!!.

My DW has done DiveQuest 2 times and loved it. It was worth the money. She will probably do it again. She has also dove in St. Maarten and St. Thomas and off the coast on NC, but she still liked it a lot.

My friend and I are doing DiveQuest when we go in March. Having only gone diving in a lake here in Texas (not the most fun...visibility is usually about 5 feet), I'm really looking forward to diving in a more tropical environment. And if I end up scaring some people dining at Coral Reef, so be it.
