Epcot Dinner

OK, so I'm starting to hedge on our choices for dinners at Epcot. We're doing Epcot twice and our window for ADR's opens in 6 days. At the moment we are looking at Biergarten, Coral Reef and Teppan Edo as our possibilities. Kids will be 10 and 12 for the trip and the 10 year old is pretty picky. She'll eat the usual kids' fare plus she likes steak and shrimp. So that leaves out Indian and Mexican for sure. I've been reading on the boards about the different restaurants in Epcot and I'm getting overwhelmed. Anyone with experience with a picky eater? And what do you think of our choices? Thanks!

Of those choices, I would go to Teppan Edo. The food is really good, and it will be perfect for your daughter if she likes steak and shrimp.

I have been to all three - I recommend Teppen Edo. My DS LOVES the shrimp for the kids meal there! :woohoo:

I would go with Teppan Edo, but that is my opinion. If you want to see some of the ratings people have given to the restraunts and the menu you can go to the website allears.net you can see other restraunts from other parks also there. Hope this helps!:thumbsup2

Both of my picky-picky-picky eaters *LOVED* Biergarten and Teppan Edo. In fact, they loved Biergarten for the food (much to my complete surprise), and Teppan Edo for the atmosphere and food.

Of those two, for sure, I don't think you'll make a wrong choice.

Sorry I'm going to be no help here, Our DD has been a picky eater from when she was 5 the first time we took her to DW till when she was 21 the last trip with her. Me and Dw love all of the EPCOT restaurants but never found a place for her other then a CS meal at the Yakitory House which I consider trashy food compared to the real good food at Teppen Edo. If we would ever take her again to DW, I would just give her mony for a funnel cake or popcorn since that is the only thing that made her happy. I think the one place she would have liked but we didn't ever go there with her would have been Ohana. So I don't think you could have one this picky, and I learned not to look her way when eating.

My girlfriend is a pretty picky eater and her 2 fav. spots in EPCOT are Biergarten and Les Chef's.

If it was for dinner, I'd suggest walking out of the International Gateway to the Beach Club for the Cape May buffet. There are plenty of offerings for both meat eaters and seafood eaters, and there's a kids' station that is open to any guest of any age who wants to eat from that station.

I have two picky eaters (and they've been that way forever) that are now 20 and 19. The only place that DD19 will eat a table service meal at EPCOT is CR. She likes the ambiance and the steak is good. The deserts won her over too. She refuses to eat at Teppan Edo because she doesn't like anything there but steak and then if they put any seasoning(sauce) on it, she won't touch it. DS20 isn't quite as bad as her, but he's pretty picky too!

another vote for Teppan Edo. However the atmosphere is great at Coral Reef. Either one would be a great choice. Have a great time :)

Just curious why no Le Cellier. The steak thing and not including it has me a bit puzzled.

It's my understanding that it's really hard to get reservations there and since we are going to be in WDW during the busiest week of the year, I figured that wasn't going to happen. I might try when my window opens, but I'm not holding my breath.
