Epcot dinner ideas - with young kids?

We have a few ADR's throughout the week we're at Disney, but I haven't made any for the day we're at Epcot.

DH and I have 2 lil ones, 3.5 and 2 yrs old. Our 2 yr old doesn't do all that great in restaurants unless we dine & dash. Should we not press our luck and stick with CS type food for dinner, or do you have recommendations of a place that would have TS but possibly quicker service, buffet etc. and not too pricey?

Garden Grill has characters and generally quick service. Coral Reef has a large fish tank to view.

I think the Biergarten in Germany and Akershus in Norway are both good choices. The Biergarten has great entertainment and Norway has the princesses that come around. For something out of the World Showcase you could try the Garden Grille since I believe it has a character dinner.

All the TS mentioned above are good. If you want to stick with CS, I can recommend Sunshine Seasons in The Land. The have a large and varied selection of food. Some are really delish!

Otherwise, you can try the Refreshment Port located near Canada. It's McDonalds with a limited menu. There are some benches nearby to eat on.

Also, Cantina de San Angel (Mexico) has some pretty decent Mexican fare. And you'll have the added benefit of sitting near the water and looking at the boats, and maybe some birds. If you don't like the kid's meal selection there, in Sept. 2006 I bought a side order of tortillas (under $1) and my DD7 ate those along with some of my food from the Plato Combinacion. Plus, if you feel so inclined, they also serve beer and frozen margaritas. I've never tried them, but I read they are very good!
