We are going on our trip in November and I am having trouble deciding on reservations at Epcot. I have reservations now at teppen Edo we have eaten there before and enjoyed it however now we have a 1 1/2 year old and I am not sure about keeping her entertained for that long. Last time I remember it being great but it did take awhile. I really thought about trying Coral Reef but the food reviews are not great but I think she would enjoy watching the fish. Can anyone offer any other recommendations? we have eaten garden grill and enjoyed it but I can't find a reservation for it on e day we will be at Epcot
Thanks

Unless you manage to score a table against the glass, a child that small will probably have problems watching the fish at Coral Reef. With lackluster food and the potential of being seated in a low-light room where the aquarium's top few feet can be seen over the heads of the other diners (unless you get the aforementioned glass-front table), I don't know that I'd choose this one.

Little kids I've traveled with have enjoyed Biergarten - the live musicians and dancing - and the San Angel (which I don't like, but little kids like to wave at the boats going past every 82 seconds or whatever ::yes:: ), and Rose and Crown where we specifically waited for a patio table near the water, so my then-18-month-old nephew could see, talk to and wave at his ducky friends.

Ducks were a huge part of his first Disney experience, Donald or otherwise. :hyper:

Akershus has princess dining! And we ate at coral reef two years ago with my three year old. The food was good enough that my husband begged to go again this year & my daughter had a great time. We weren't up against the glass, but we were on the main level. It gets a worse reputation than it deserves - we liked it a lot.

I'm a firm believer that all reviews (including Disney Dining) need to be taken with a grain of salt. I think people who have a bad experience are much more likely to get on and review than the high number of people who have good or "OK" experiences and this skews the results. We haven't been to Disney in years and we are going with little ones. I've honestly just decided to pick the places we want to go and go and form our own reviews. Oh and places that I can actually GET a reservation.
