What is the best resturant to eat at in Epcot and why?

My mom and I are vegetarians so the major meat resturants are not so appealing....

Thats a tough one. I assume you mean TS locations? The first thing that comes to mind would be Restaurant Marrakesh - couscous, veggies, hummus, pita, etc.

But these are all the menus, so that will probably help you the most: http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm

I was going to suggest that too. If you go onto allears.net there is a section on the left under dining with allergy dining, etc and also one with info for vegetarians. If you click on that it will give you some advice and also readers' experiences on the best and worst places. I think it covered counter service as well as TS, which would be helpful for you.

Lets See next week we are going to

Le Cellier-great Mushroom Filet and desserts
Coral Reef-great NY strip steak
Chefs de France-got to try the red snapper thi time
Rose and Crown-great or best view of Illuninations
San Angle-great atmosphere

all in EPCOT it is good we have hopper passes. And this still leave out a few like Teppen Edo(good food and entertainment) and Toyoko Dining plus others.

Also out of EPCOT we are going to
Ohanna-lots of grilled meat
Hoop-Dee Doo-like a big party and beer:drinking1 or wine and tips are included

We will be there for Halloween :stir:

I find the best option for eating in Epcot is grazing around the world, especially for lunch. Now, I can't say for sure how many vegetarian options there are. I am not a vegetarian but am a healthy conscious eater who makes sure to get my daily vegetables so I do pay attention in the restaurants.

Depending on how strictly vegetarian you are and where on the continuum you fall there are come good Epcot restaurants. For CS the best option is probably Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion. They have some decent salads and I believe a vegetable stew. I can't say for certain if they use beef stock.

There are vegetarian dishes in Morocco both at the CS location and Restaurant Marrakesh. If you eat fish Coral Reef and the French restaurants will have some good choices. The one thing to look out for in France if you are strict is that often sauces are meat based.

I think the San Angel Inn is wonderful, if for nothing else the ambiance. It's magnificent. For food quality, I'd say the sit down restaurant in Italy would be my favorite behind Le Cellier--which is a steak house and would not have tons of non-meat options.

Tutto Italia is awesome! I could eat there every single day but then again I am an Italian chick and love pasta!

I'm a vegetarian, and really enjoyed my meal at Asherkus in Norway. They have a very nice spread of hors d'oeurves that anyone can help themselves to, and there is usually at least one vegetarian item on the menu. If you have them note that you are vegetarian on the ADR, the chef will come out and ask if there's anything different that he can make for you if the dish on the menu is not appealing (at least that was my experience). I went with two others and they made three different veggie dishes. If you're going with your mom you may enjoy the princesses too!

The vegetarian lasagna at Chefs de France is very, very good, and the mac n cheese is vegetarian as well. The setting here was very nice, and the service was excellent.

I would not suggest San Angel Inn. When I went in May, there were only two vegetarian options, and I was not very impressed with the meal that I got. I would strongly suggest the CS in Mexico over the TS.

Most places are very accommodating if you give notice, and can usually come up with some better options if the menu is limited.
