Epcot Dining & Illuminations

Since I have a late ADR at LeCellier on our first night at Epcot, we are going to miss Illuminations. We are going back to Epcot on another half day (late afternoon/early evening) and I need one more Table Service. I am trying to decide between Rose & Crown and Akershus for dinner. What time would you suggest I make my ADR so we can be done in plenty of time for a decent viewing location?

Unless you like Norwegian Dining (cold meats, cheeses and fish) I would rethink dinner in Norway.

Although I have seen many positive reviews, it is not for everyone.

We like Coral Reef, Garden Grill, Teppanyaki, etc.

I like Fish and Chips, but my travelling companions (DM,DF and DD13 were against it)

If Illuminations is at 9:30 on your trip, I would eat at like 6:30, so you can relax and enjoy and still get a good spot

Rose & Crown....between 7:30- 8:00....ask for a table outside

I have Rose and Crown at 7:30, I have read that they have a patio you can go out on to view the illuminations. Otherwise I would eat anywhere with a 6pm Adr, figure you are out 7:30ish to get your spot for illuminations.

Unlike many other parades and fireworks shows, it is not necessary to stake out a spot for Illuminations an hour or more ahead of time. As long as you are done with dinner by 8:30, you should have plenty of time to find a good spot somewhere around the WS lagoon.

Thanks to everyone that replied. I am still undecided on our last TS meal. Norwegian food doesn't bother me as long as it isn't lutefisk. I am not planning any princess dining so this may be the reason to pick Akershus. But I was mainly more concerned with the timing.
