We're going next month with extended family and staying offsite. We doing 3 park days and have hoppers and plan to do one Epcot/DHS day (plus a MK day and AK day).

Tomorrow I have to make our FP for the Epcot/DHS day.

Do you think it's better to go to DHS in the am to hit Toy Story Land (figuring I'll never get SDD FP for a party of 9 at 30 days out), plus a few other attractions. None us will go on RnR or ToT, I don't expect the wait times to be too bad for the other attractions on that day. If we go there in the morning would you save your FP for Epcot given that the only one that would really be needed at DHS is one of the Toy Story attractions?

OR

Do you think it's best to go to Epcot in the am, head to Test Track at opening, FP Frozen, Spaceship Earth and Nemo (not needed but nothing really else to use as a 3rd)? We may possibly be able to get Soarin' as a 4th FP, then hop to DHS and hope for the best with wait times and additional FP?

Any preference for Illuminations or Star Wars Fireworks as the evening show? Only my son and I have seen the Star Wars Fireworks before, and we're the only ones that have seen Toy Story Land since it opened.

:hyper2::confused3:confused:

Either way, at least we'll be in Disney :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I don’t have an answer for you, but check out the thread on here about same day fast pass drops at DHS—it’s never guaranteed, but they’ve been doing two per day pretty consistently. With 9 you’d want to split up into smaller groups to search and you might not all get them, I don’t know how many they release when they do the drops. But whichever plan you go with, I’d keep those times in mind and consider trying to have FP room to grab something when they drop!

I'll look for that thread, thanks!

i would suggest going to HS at RD. At 30 days out, while possible, the odds of gettng SDD FPs are not good.
If you get to HS in the afternoon, if you want to do SDD or TSMM, the lines are most likely going to be very long.
In EPCOT, by afternoon, most people are back in WS and the lines in Future world tend to get shorter.
FS for EPCOT rides also seem to be easier to get, although TT tends to be more difficult.

I would 100% do Studios first. First off because fastpasses for it are more useful. You’re better off rope dropping Slinky if you’re group has to do it. After you finish whichever passes you get at Studios, getting the 4th at Epcot shouldn’t be an issue. Then you also get to enjoy a restaurant at Epcot, since that park has way better food. And finishing at Epcot gets the much better firework show, unless you’re big Fantasmic people.

That makes a lot sense, thanks! We'll plan on DHS in the am, then hop to Epcot for the rest of the day. :disrocks:

I like this plan, but I would be torn on where to use the FP's. I've had good luck with Soarin' as a 4th and I've heard Frozen is possible, but I haven't had as much luck with Test Track as a 4th. If you rope drop DHS you should be able to do SDD then TSMM and AS. Star Wars is usually pretty low wait time in the morning and that all could be done without FP's. I think those are great parks to hop any day :)
