Hi! Any idea what time an October Dessert Party would begin? What time would we head over to Epcot and what time are the fireworks that time of year? How long are you in the park before the show begins? Loads of questions again! Thanks xxx :thumbsup2

Illuminations normally start at 09.00 pm so the dessert party would start at 8.30. You pay for catering to be served for 1 hour so until 09.30 unless you specify otherwise or extend your service time!

I think thats right, I am looking at booking this for our October wedding too!

Hi thanks for the reply! Another UK Bride! Yey! Are you planning for this October or next year? I'm next year :)

Our dessert party is starting at 8:00. Our planner told us they are starting all dessert parties at 8:00 to allow for extra time in case of having to move the venue for bad weather. We are getting on the bus at the Boardwalk at 7:30 and will leave Epcot at 9:30. We are only paying for an hour of food from 8-9.

Thanks, that's great. When is your wedding? Just wondered because of the worry of bad weather. Do you think we'll be ok in October? x

I think they changed the times because in the last year they had to move a lot more parties because of bad weather. The weather in FL has been crazy. We are getting married in May and are hoping for the best. I would think in October you have a good chance since it's past the summer thunderstorm season.

No problem!

We are getting married on October 5th this year, cant wait!!
We picked October becuase the weather is generally better around then, less wet and not quite so hot but as some of the other girls have said who knows what might happen! My fingers are crossed for a dry night!!!

We were planning a June wedding for 2011 but have changed it to October because of weather inconsistencies over the past few years in June. October the weather is much better, but it is hurricane season... that is the only pitfall. What date are you planning for?
