Epcot day help

I have ADR's for dinner in Epcot. We are planning on watching Illuminations that night. Should that also be my 'day' in Epcot-just plan on spending the whole day there, maybe minus an afternoon rest at resort? It is also the am EMH day at Epcot. Just wondering if it is too much for one day? DK are 7.

There is a lot for kids to do at Epcot.

I'd go to the park in the morning and do Future World. Do the kidcots and you'll get a gift for finishing it, and then take a break after lunch, and return to the park in the evening and do world showcase and have dinner.

There is plenty to do at Epcot, you could easily fill your day, even 2.
If you have hoppers, you can spend the day somewhere else and then hop over to Epcot for dinner and Illuminations.

I would make that my "day" in Epcot. The morning extra magic hours only gives you an additional hour in the park and World Showcase still opens at 11:00. You could do Future World first and then take your break and come back to do World Showcase in the afternoon/evening. Break from that for dinner and then fill in what you need before Illuminations starts at 9:00.

Just remember that there aren't a lot of sitting opinions while touring World Showcase so you will have to watch yourself and take breaks. Pace yourself between things like the two stand up films (China and Canada) and fill in with the sit down film in France and the American Adventure. Also, a lot of the entertainment has very limited seating so you'll probably be standing for those.
