Not sure if this is the right place, so feel free to move. I have noticed that there is a Disney Visa card holder only character meet'n'greet and I seem to think it is at EPCOT. Can anyone confirm this? Where do you go? How do you get in, just show your cc? What time are they normally at?

Any other information is greatly appreciated.

We did this on on Oct 1st. It's in one of the Innovention areas(the one without the wine fest). They were doing it in the afternoon. It was great, 'cause it ended up being our only official picture with the characters and it was Mickey and Pluto, no less!

It is at epcot at innoventions. It is the innovention that is on your right hand side when you are coming into the park. Some people have posted that they have extended it into the next year but the promotion was to end 9/30/06. The hours were from something like 1-4 p.m. every day. To find the place, you look for the fire truck. It is to the back of the fire truck. You need to show your credit card. They take pictures and tell you your pictures will be ready in about 15 minutes. You then have to go to the little kodak store that is across from the big ball at epcot. They swipe your photo card and you get to pick what picture you want for free. You don't have to pick up the picture right away, just get there before they close.

The meet and greet is in Innoventions West, by the fire truck. Just ask a CM and they will show you where to go. I don't think it is marked. Yes, you show your credit card. We saw Minnie and Goofy. It was very nice-no line and no rush. They use your Photo Pass card. You pick out your picture at the camera center under Spaceship Earth. I'm not sure what time it starts but I think it is open until 5:00.

We just did this on Sunday. It has been extended to Sept. 30, 2007 and is currently open from 1:30-4:30.

We did it on Sept. 28 and we got there a few minutes before 4 if I remember right. So easy and hey, it's free! If there is a long line, I would skip it though, because I imagine that the line moves pretty slowly.

Excellent. Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the info.

If it's anything like it was in DCA, you can actually pick from any picture taken that day, not just the one from that meet n' greet.

And you can also have pix taken with your own camera. We did this in Jan. 06 (didn't go in Sept. 06) and we saw Minnie, Goofy, and I believe Pluto.

Also, don't overlook the Character Connection in Epcot. We've done it on both recent trips and didn't wait more than 2 min. for any character. They've also prettied it up a bit so the background of your pix isn't the back side of the painted out windows.

We've seen Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and Donald there.

Have fun!

We also did it in september, it was really cute - the characters (goofy, minnie, pluto) spent alot of time w/my dd's - unfortunatley the photographer taking our pics was new and when we went to look at the pics at the photo center they were terrible - heads chopped off, not centered, ect.. They told us to come back another day and get another photo session, but when we went back we arrive 15 minutes after it closed and we were never able to get the free pic.

So, it sounds like a pretty decent time. Thanks everyone.

That's excellent! I didn't know they extended it and thought it ended on 9/30. Looks like we will be doing it on Thursday when we are in Epcot.
