Epcot change of hours

Our wedding is scheduled for 5pm at SBP on Friday April 3rd 2009 with cocktail hour and dinner to follow at France in Epcot with our first dance under Illuminations. They have just announced a change for Jan-April where Illuminations is now at 8PM on some dates and Epcot closes then. I feel like we are being cheated on time now! I am waiting for our planner to get back to us with any info but I am pretty sure the answer is "deal with it"

Your losing an hour right? Is there a way you can push the ceremony to 4... prolly not cause I'm sure you hav everything set already.

I am sure, since some receptions go on after the park closes, that they won't kick you out. I think that they will let you stay in the park past the time the park closes.

Epcot will remain open from 8pm til 11pm for Extra Magic Hours on those Fridays, so nothing will change except that you may have fewer park visitors gawking at your party!

seems like they are cutting way back on a lot of the events, I know the economy is bad but seems like tons of people are taking advantage of the 4/3promotion. I guess it's good that we will have less people there and at least we know about it now.

I agree with people taking advantage of the 4/3 promotion....I mean a lot of our family is going twice in a month and a half for my wedding and yours!
