I am hoping we will have it next year and I’m wondering when tickets usually go on sale. I know that Not So Scary will go on sale first - has there been any info yet?

Usually not until Spring. I doubt they will make it earlier until they see the staus of the pandemic.

I am so hoping they have it. We want to go the Friday before Thanksgiving. Have been to it 3 times and absolutely love it!

Joining in for news of MVMCP 2021, which I’m sure is not coming soon, since Disney will want to have at least a basic idea of what the country will look like next holiday season before they start selling tickets to anything.

If it does come back, can anyone make a prediction of the dates? When I looked at the dates for 2019, they seemed all over the place, like some Fridays, some Sundays, some Mondays, some Tuesdays, some Thursdays. I just couldn't predict a pattern. We are going next November and want to avoid the party.

We don't even have details about the Art Festival that starts Q1, let alone next year Christmas details

Throwing my hat into the thread to follow for any news. We're well into planning a trip for early December, but it's hard to plan specifics until they tell us what we *can* plan for.

As much as I suspect Disney wants MNNSHP and MVMCP to return, there are a lot of things that need to improve before we get there.
Hoping we do, but not convinced yet.
If they return, I don't expect to see tickets for MNSSHP before summer.

joining in. I would suspect summer at best.....in relation to any type of announcement. Seems many think the virus and "shutdown" mindset will begin shifting towards some type of normal in June or July. How long that shift needs to take shape...anyone's guess. Personally I would love to see ticketed events back. I was at the MNSSHP in 2019 and almost all lines for candy were not busy.....I would think WDW could figure out these events at a minimum. Although, many on here know much more than I do....possibly the lack of character meet/greets would be problematic?

No character meet and greets, no shows, no parades, no fireworks. Basically everything that a party has. Doesn’t mean they won’t try to monetize it anyway and sell a special ticketed “taste of very merry Christmas party” where you pay $100 for a 4 hour event where they sell some extra food and unique merchandise I guess.

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about these two events being held this year. Don't want to make room reservations if not. Thanks for any information. We really enjoyed them in 2019.

No official info as far as I know, ps the restrictions in place.

ETA - updated to remove incorrect info.

Disney has not announced the return of MNSSHP as of this time. It may return but at this point Disney has not announced that it is.

No announcements have been made about Christmas either so at this time what may happen is speculation.

Oops, I'm sorry, I thought I heard this and pulled up an article that I thought confirmed. My apologies.

That’s okay. It’s just the Halloween party is a greatly anticipated event so didn’t want incorrect information to get out there.

Lol, if they announce it you’ll hear it from a ton of different sources!! 😊
