Epcot before MK or SpectroMagic?

Eleven of my group are first timers. I've always been told (and agree) to take people to Epcot before MK, because once you take a kid to MK they expect the same from Epcot. My problem is that the only day on our trip that has SpectroMagic on schedule would put us going to MK the day before Epcot. So my question to you is; Is it more important to take the group to Epcot before MK or is SpectroMagic not to be missed for any reason?

The first time we took our kids to Disney (they were 8 & 10), we did MK the first day and Epcot later in the week...They loved both! The parks are so different, you really can't compare them. We made sure before we left, that they had some idea of what to expect at all the parks...we enjoyed every one of them. I would say go to the MK, watch SpectroMagic (it is really cool) and don't worry about it. Everyone will enjoy every aspect of Disney...and have a great time!!!
