Epcot Bars/Food

Do the "countries" have bars/lounges which offer a light menu? Even ordering apps off the dinner menu is fine.

Want to skip a big sit down meal and just sample food and adult beverages on night.

Any of the counter service places in the pavilions will let you do this. Most pavilions will have beer or wine available outside of the restaurants.

At the Rose and Crown, you can order food in the pub - not the full dinner menu, but things like an order of fish & chips (you get the same order you would get from the fish & chip kiosk next door), cheese plate, etc. This is the only place I can think of in the WS that is actually a bar with a menu. I do this often because you can use DDE there, and you can't use it for counter service.

Oh, wait! There's also the Matsunomo Lounge in Japan.

Unfortunately, the quality and selection of counter service food isn't anywhere near comparable to the quality or selection of full-service restaurants in the World Showcase.

I wish the sit-down restaurants would serve their appetizers in a lounge...DH and I really have not found a single counter service in any of the parks (except Main Street Bakery in the MK) that has good food.

Well, Japan HAD a lounge that served appetizers (tuna in ponzu sauce, etc) and sushi, it is now an adjuct to the Tempura Kiku with the same menus (tempura and sushi). It seems you can still just have drinks there but you can also have whatever is on the appetizer list on the menu. Other than the Rose and Crown Pub there are not any other true lounges in Epcot Center
