Epcot Area Dining

I need to add another Epcot dinner restaurant this time around. My mom is joining us halfway through the trip, and she like fine dining and really good food--she likes to eat well on vacation! Some of the Epcot basics we like won't be her favorites... (Germany, San Angel, Hacienda, etc.) We usually avoid eating Italian on vacation because we have a lot of good Italian restaurants where we live and dine at them frequently. We are dining at Chefs de France because she does like that. I am fine with an Epcot area resort restaurant too. I just want another evening/night at Epcot so close is fine. We have eaten at Flying Fish a few times and like it, but I was thinking of changing it up. Suggestions? Hidden gems?

I absolutely love Yachtsman steakhouse. It's at the Yacht Club. The appetizers and salad was delicious. My 12yo is still talking about his aged porterhouse and we were there over the summer.

I would second Yachtsman Steakhouse. Great dining and a very nice room.

If you aren't on the dining plan, I would head over to the Dolphin and eat at bluezoo. For fine dining, have you considered switching Chefs to Monsieur Paul? It's more of a fine dining experience and the food is much better IMHO.

Aside from Flying Fish, as other have said Yacthsman is a great bet. Amazing steaks, sides, and service. BlueZoo and Il Mulino at the Dolphin are also quite good, but we prefer FF or yachtsman

Another HUGE vote for Yachtsman!!! It's an absolute must for us now! DH even joked eating there at least once every trip is the only way he'll endulge my obsession lol! (Our opinion) It's upscale but understated enough to feel welcoming, with a "mature" vs "trendy" feel, spread out & relaxing even when busy (v/s how loud/chaotic/tables shoved together @ a place like Chef de France is), excellent service, and hands down the BEST steak & apps on property (desserts are good, but we've had better at other signatures). The short boat ride over and back is relaxing, and breaks up the day.

Flying Fish has been totally redone, the restaurant, the menu, everything. If you haven't been there lately I would go here. It's absolutely fantastic. Yachtsman's is not that great, in my opinion. We dine at fine steakhouses here locally, and this doesn't even come close. I would choose Shula's over Yachtsman's.

Have had both Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul. Monsieur Paul is much more elegant and the food is better.

Is Bluezoo OK for kids? We will have my 4yo with us--she is good in restaurants.
