Still planning:rolleyes:

I've pretty much decided to split Epcot into visits. One day to World Showcase because we have a 7:30pm PS at Rose & Crown.

How long do you think it would take to visit WS? If we're there from opening I'm worried that we'll be wiped out by 7:30.

On another day, should we try to do Future World and a Water Park?

Thanks!

WS is a tough estimate sometimes. There are the attractions, then there is shopping and street entertainment. If you're going to do all of the attractions I would guesstimate about 6 hours just to walk the lagoon, wait in line, maybe get a snack. If you're a hard core shopper, or if you are having a meal, your mileage may vary. I can tell you that trying to do WS and FW is a loonnngg day and probably not to the taste of many guests.

Hi Micca,

Thanks for replying. 6 hours just for WS or for doing WS & FW?
Hmm, what would you suggest is doable with kids ages 7 to 14?
Thanks.

The water parks wear me out! I usually save them for a non-park day and spend the evening shopping at DTD or seeing the hotels. Slow paced stuff.

I believe that children your age will definitely have more fun in Future World. With Test Track and Mission: Space and numerous other attractions that would take a good part of any day.
Please make sure you get there at opening if you want to ride the big attractions. Test Track fast passes normally run out in the early afternoon.
It's hard to speculate on World Showcase because some people can spend all day there and others skip it entirely.

WE always plan at least 2 days for Epcot and even some additional nights for dining and Illuminations. There is really alot to do in WS.

Thanks All. We'll try to get there at opening and get Fastpasses. Is Mission Space the new ride that everyon'es been talking about? The one that can make you sick? I can see our boys doing that but not Dad, dd or me. :D

I really have to read up on how Fastpass works. Got scared this morning reading another thread about the waiting time in lines.:earseek:

PS to Samantha...Adorable kids!

The fast pass if easy. Go to the ride you want to fast pass and you will see the fast pass kiosk. If 4 people want to ride that ride you must insert each of their park passes into the kiosk. Out pops 4 fast pass tickets with a time frame on them. For example return between 1:15 and 2:15. When the time arrives just go to the Cast Member standing outside the ride and give him your fast pass tickets. You will sent to a different line and will be next up for the ride!
