The half ends in Epcot, correct?

Do we get to stay in that park that day for free after the marathon? how does that work?

Are you talking about the Wine & Dine of January half? The W&D finishes in the park at WS and we get to stay in the park afterwords for the party. The January event finishes through Epcot but the finish line itself is in the parking lot. You will need a ticket to get back into Epcot after.

Keep in mind that if you have a one-park ticket and go into Epcot that will be your park for the day.

No, I'm talking about the 1/2 in January. According to the race map it ends in Epcot. I was wondering how they handle participants being in the park after the race. If we don't leave how do they use the ticket for that day?

The finish line is about a 10th of a mile outside the Epcot gates (in the parking lot). You run through Epcot, exit the park, and then finish the race. I guess you could technically just stop running in Epcot (if you were in the park after 9:00 opening time) and spend the day there, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of running 13 miles to get to that point. :rotfl:

Bummer! I was hoping to only need a 3 day ticket. lol

Thanks

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Plus that is a really expensive park ticket - it would be easier and cheaper to not run :confused3 Except for that running is fun :thumbsup2
