Has anyone done this Epcot After Dark? If so, which lounge did you choose? Was it worth it? I'd love to hear about your experience.

Thank you!

There are plenty of reviews out in the blogosphere.

I had La Cava booked but I cancelled it after they started allowing children to attend.

Yes, numerous reviews. What few I've read were rather "meh". No background music or entertainment, just a place to hang out w very light appetizers and a small flight of drinks. Some complaints about too tired children in very close quarters.

Why would they let children attend something that is supposed to be a wind down? I can't think of anything more unpleasant than trying to enjoy a few drinks around tired and grumpy children. Hopefully many parents will elect to not take their children.

When they realized that they wouldn't get the kind of attendance they hoped for unless parents were permitted to bring their children, it changed. Used to be you could only book it for adults.

According to what I've been seeing, it's the same price for adults and children so no break on the price, and at least the ones I have read about have provided alternate beverages (but not alternate food) for children (or for those who prefer not to drink alcohol)

I have it booked at la cava in August. It's my favorite bar in all of Disney so I see it as an added benefit to hang out after hours on our last night and we get to walk back to the Boardwalk without the massive crowd exiting after the fireworks. Thats worth the money alone to us even though kids are now allowed to attend

I too would love to hear reviews. Have this booked for a trip in Sept and I, at 27 am the "kid" in the group.
Would be more than willing to cancel if the general consensus is "eh"

I was planning a night out with my hubby without the kids. Now that I know they allow kids, I'd rather find something else.
Thanks.

Just because kids are allowed, does anyone know how often kids actually attend?
