Our first visit over the 4th of July, taking 6 y.o GD with DH. Feeling a bit overwhelmed reading crowd reports.
Decided to do MK on 3rd & Epcot on 4th hoping for smaller crowd haha. Plan is to enter parks after noon and stay via PM EMHs. Do have ADRs booked for dinner, told it typically will grant entrance even if park is closed to capacity. Guess I'll find out if that's true.
Was surprised to be able to book a FP for Illuminations. Have never done so in past. Typically, we leave beforehand to beat crowd or stake a place out early.
Will be lugging stroller along, which adds to my confusion. Aside from normal crowd concerns, wondering if the FP Illuminations viewing spot 'worth it'. Unsure if GD would be able to see well from that spot, depending on overal size/#of people that are permitted.
Not sure how early people start to typicaly line up, FP says 8:30 - 8:50 for 9-9:15 show.
Last year park hours were extended to 10 pm. Any idea if our FP would be valid/extended if it happens again this year?
Any hints to survive the week
are appreciated!
