Epcot 2025 Flower and Garden Festival

Hey All - We will be heading to Disney for the Princess Marathon Races in 2025. Any idea when the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will start?

The past few years it has officially started on the Wednesday after Princess Weekend, but there are topiaries before then. I think I had some photos time stamped the monday of princess weekend 2023 that has topiaries in them. And we were there this year on the Sunday of Princess Weekend and there were topiaries.

One thing to note, Disney has been changing the dates of when festivals were offered in the past. The year Flower and Garden ended earlier than it had in other years and, Food and Wine is starting much later than it has in the past.

We won't really know the actual dates for 2025 until the festival is officially announced.

The bonkers long F&W was a post-COVID/reopening thing to draw out the crowds rather than concentrate them. The current festival dates are more in line with the 2019 dates.

I read that the reason Flower and Garden is now ending earlier, and Food and Wine is now starting later, is because the festival kiosks become extremely hot for the cast members. The schedules were changed to avoid the time of year when the intensity of the sun is greatest and the days have the longest period of sunlight, because so many cast members were experiencing heat related medical emergencies during long shifts preparing food in the dangerously hot kiosks. The story I read said that they have fans but no air conditioning.

I do agree with the poster above who mentioned that the dates reverted back to be more in line with pre-Covid, but I believe the heat played a big role in that decision.

This is the actual normal timeframe for it. The last couple years they made it earlier to get people in the parks but now that they are there they can go back to normal.
