Epcot 2 days???

how can anyone say that AK is a half day park? I just don't get it. My sister and I spent 2 full days there on our last trip. Watching most of the shows, wandering the trails, taking our time viewing the animal carvings on the Tree of Life, talking to CMS about their Disney lives, relaxing meal at Flame Tree.... yes we did it all on 2 separate days and weren't bored at all.

Of course if you only go for the rides you won't have the same experience

Because not everyone takes their time viewing the animal carvings on the Tree of Life, talks to CMS about their Disney lives, or eats a relaxing meal at Flame Tree.

Obviously, the more you do in a park the longer it will take you but different group demographics often determine what is done in each park; as it should.

I could tour the World Showcase for two days straight from 11 am- 9 pm...but that doesn't mean it it is a two day park for everyone.

Our AK day typically looks something like this:

Arrive on a non EMH day about 8:25 and head to Safari standby right at park opening. After that, get a snack maybe walk one trail then head to Rafiki's Planet Watch. 10:45 Flights of Wonder, Everest, Kali, snack the over the FOTLK for 12 pm. After that, head to dinoland for dinosaur or primeval whirl then 1 pm Finding Nemo. After Nemo, finish up whatever we need in Dinoland, let the little one play a bit in the Boneyard. Catch It's Tough to Be Bug, meet characters throughout the day then head out for a late lunch or early dinner.

At that age, my girls loved EPCOT. They would spend almost all day in innoventions. We use to do 1 day for innoventions and one day for everything else, or at least 1/2 day innoventions.

Have your kids been to EPCOT before? We have spent 2 days at EPCOT since DD, now 9, was 3 and it is by far her favorite park other than MK. On her first trip when she was 2, we only spent one day there and quickly realized that was not enough time. If they like characters, there are characters all over World Showcase. Also, the Agent P missions in world showcase are a lot of fun. DD could probably spend an entire WS day just playing those. I would plan for 2 days at EPCOT- if the kids get bored midway through the 2nd day, you can always go back to the resort and spend an evening at the pool. DHS would not be a 2 day park for us. We would keep the 2 days at EPCOT, do 2.5 days at MK, and do 1 day at DHS.
