I'm overthinking (as always) my plans for our week. Looking at a certain crowd calendar and it has Epcot at a 9 for Sunday 11/29. Does anyone know why it would be that high on that day?

EDIT - I don't think my original question was clear enough. I realize that it is Thanksgiving weekend and I expect that it will be higher on the weekend than during the week. But I'm trying to figure why Sunday - level 9 would be busier than Thursday (Thanksgiving - level 4), Friday - level 5, and Saturday level 7?

It's the weekend during a festival and the holidays. It's going to be crowded, if your trip allows I would certainly try a weekday instead.

Thanksgiving weekend, first weekend of Holiday festivities in that park, weekend during a festival, all of this likely feeds into that prediction.

It's the Sunday after Thanksgiving???

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I realize my question was not detailed enough and have edited my post.

I don't know why and I would expect it to be less busy than the previous days as most people *go home* on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I think it's the busiest travel day of the year (in US).

But maybe there are a lot of people arriving for the following week figuring the Thanksgiving crowds are gone and so Sunday will be very busy.

Also several food locations are only open on weekends so I have to assume people want to take advantage of that. We'll be going on 12/2 (Tues) and I know we'll miss out on a few things but that's just how our schedule works out this trip.

@gatorlisa is right. It’s the first weekend of the holiday booths. The booths won’t be running during the week of Thanksgiving. They start on Black Friday. Also, Thanksgiving day isn’t as bad as Black Friday and that Saturday. Locals won’t want to go on Friday or Saturday due to tourists, but a lot of people will fly home Sunday. So, locals probably think it will be less crowded. Whoever did that crowd calendar is probably spot on, relatively speaking,
