EPA breakfast in USF?

We'll be visiting the parks in 2 weeks. Staying on property, so we'll take advantage of EPA 2 or 3 days.

What is available, in USF, for breakfast? Is the Leaky Cauldron open that early? Anything else?

We went two years ago and we struggled to find something for breakfast. I think I remember LC being open, but only for package guests.

We'd like to ride Gringott's, Minion's, or both, then grab something to eat before everything else opens.

According to the US website, Starbucks opens at 8:30. We rode Gringotts twice, spent some time exploring Diagon Alley, did Minions, and had a breakfast sandwich and coffee there. Leaky Cauldron looked open, but we did not go in.

LC and 3B have breakfast. They change to lunch at 10:30. As far as I know only 3B was ever only for package guests and that was in 2010 just for a short time post-opening.

You can eat at both Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron but that really is a waste of your early admission. There really aren't that many Harry Potter package guests anymore that fill the restaurant, so you can most likely have space. There are carts in both Harry Potter areas with fruit and pastries if that will work during that time. I'd eat before getting into the park at the hotel or after early admission in the park.

I agree that it's not the best use of time, but once you ride MM and EfG, there isn't much left to do. Two rides on either of those back to back would probably make us both sick for the rest of the day lol.

We'd likely do Gringott's first then maybe work our way back up to MM (that one isn't as important to us, and we can always do it later with EP). After both of those, the only thing we'd have to do is either wait for USF rides to open or for the Hogwarts Express to open to jump over to IOA (or walk over to IOAs front gate.

The carts are a great idea, though. We'd rather do the carts or Starbuck's - something quick - rather than a sit down and nothing on Three Broomsticks menu really speaks to us anyway.
