Ep then fireworks?

Awwww, I'm so glad it worked for you! :goodvibes I'm always afraid I'll hear the horror story of someone that only made it to the esplanade before RDCT starts and then they'd be mad at me. :headache:

The way you did it sounds exactly like what we do. Get to the spot behind the sound booth and then send the kids away to ride PoTC while an adult an a stroller hold the spots. Usually by the time the kids are done with PoTC, they have about a 5 min wait before F! starts.

I'm lovin all the success stories!

That's exactly what we did. I knew there was a reason for that darn stroller besides carrying our waters. :)

It was funny because I looked around thinking hmmm...who else right here by us is from the Dis boards and read DM's tips? :lmao:

Thanks for the info! I'm going on April 27 for 5 nights and Sunday night is the only night they are running.

I'm another fan of DM's trifecta tips!!! We did it one night, and I felt like I had a secret that no one else in the parks knew about! At first DH thought I was crazy, but by the time we made it out of DCA and were heading into DL we were both laughing hysterically at ourselves because here we were trying to achieve the nightime entertainment trifecta at DL! We had two strollers, one for DS2 and one for DS1. Both boy s thought it was a ride in itself dodging through the crowds with an accelerated pace! Unfortunately, we got halfway through the fireworks and then they cancelled the rest of the show because of the wind... but because we were positioned on the left side of the hub in front of frontierland, we headed immediately over to ROA and got front row seats for F! It was the most fun we had while there!

Molly, I'd only make one change to your plan and that is that you turn right at the water wheel and take the back path behind GRR, that will save you even more time than if you go by the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail area and past GRR.

Here's a link to my Trifecta Tips if anyone needs a refresher:

Is this the path you are talking about?

Thanks!

Yep, that's the path, but looking at it that way, it does appear that the way past the Challenge Trail/Play Area might be a shorter distance. Perhaps I like the back path because it's less crowded and I don't get any slow movers in front of me. ;)

That's a good point, especially if most people take the other path.

Thanks! :thanks:
