Ep IX - Can We Expect SWL to be open by 5/24/19?

With SW Ep IX getting a theater date of 5/24/19 (so excited, my birthday!!!), is there any chance SW Land in WDW is completed and open? It seems like it would be good marketing to open alongside the film's release.

I think it's too early to say at this point. Rumors seems to indicate late 2019 for WDW's SW Land, and based on some of the aerial construction shots, I'd say that seems pretty accurate for where they are now.

Latest rumors say late summer for DHS.

In Disney land I think you could see May, but thinking WDW will be behind. But as was said, we probably won't know until sometime in 2019. Avatar was announced about 8 weeks out?, roughly, so we can guess but won't know for quite a while.

Pandoras opening date was announced in February. About 3-4 months out.

I personally am confident they will finish both coasts by/before the release of Episode 9.

That said, I am also confident Episode 9 will be pushed back to a December release date.

Not because of the lands, but because Disney has learned the Christmas season + Star Wars = large extended families going to the movies together.
