EP handling

I have both a regular EP for both parks for our day of visit as well as a HHN EP for the same evening.

As I like to travel light in the parks, I won't have any bag or purse with me, so the EPs together with the tickets either would go into the wallet or my pant pockets.

With the EPs just printed on paper, I'm a bit afraid they might get unreadable after a while, especially after getting wet on one of the splash rides.

Could I just cut out the barcode part and laminate it in the size of a park ticket? It doesn't say anything on the EP that it has to be printed out completely but at the same time I'm not sure what informations other than the barcode they would need on the EP.

Any experiences with this?

I would put them in a lanyard around my neck.I did this the last 2 visits ( each were 4 park days) and despite getting soaked on water rides they were fine.I am not sure about cutting the barcodes off.i would wait and see if someone here knows better.

I guess you had to fold it 1 or 2 time to fit it in the Lanyard? Did you leave the paper then in the Lanyard and just showed them the barcode through the plastic or did you have to take it out when you used the EP?

we found our lanyards at a local office supply store. They fit the express passes no problem and had a clear window that they could scan them thru.We carried our hotel key, park ticket, express pass and ID in them easily.

Sometimes the EP will scan through the plastic but not always so you would need to take it out so it can be scanned.
