Hey All,

First - sorry if I got your hopes up there....

The next issue of the AP magazine Envie De+ covering October, November and December 2008 should be dropping through people doors shortly.

Once you receive it, can I ask someone to post the next lot of Hotel discount dates please?.

Thanks

Iain

I'll try Iain, but I didn't get my last one until the 9th July, so I'm not expecting another one til around the 9th October.

If I remember, I'll pick one up at the AP office on the 6th, when I'm buying DD's new AP.

We never get one :confused3 but we will renewing on our next trip so will pick up as well :goodvibes

I've been getting mine for years, but they are also available on the French DLP website. It's still showing Summer's.

We never seem to get one either. :sad2:

I complained once and was sent one but it was a one-off and I've never received any more.

The Envie De+ 18 (Oct / Nov / Dec 2008) is now available at:

The discounts appear to be (looking at the small print):

35% for the Disney Hotels

40% for Davy Crockett
For arrives between 9th November thru to 23rd December, with the exception of the 15th, 22nd and 29th November and 6th, 13th and 20th December

Enjoy!.

Iain.

Thankyou very much for that Iain - looks like some good discounts :thumbsup2

35% for the Disney Hotels

Wow! That's a good discount. I noticed the Jul/Aug/Sept one offered discounts up to Oct 12th and now they start again on Oct 19th. Just my luck to choose to go in between those dates. Looking forward to scanning through the new issue, thanks!

Thanks so much for this. I've been waiting VERY impatiently for this, and I am SOOOO booking our trip to Sequoia Lodge tonight for 11-14 December!!!

Can some kind soul please provide the number for the AP hotel-only booking line again for me? It would be much appreciated! :goodvibes

Its the normal booking number Dollyrar - 08448 008 111

Well the bad news is that it seems that this new discount information hasn't reach Disney's people on the end of the phone as the quotes that we've just got are identical to those which we got in August.

Given our dates are during a period in which the discount should be available - and given that the dates have only just been release - I can only assume that Disney's computer hasn't been given the information. I can't imagine that they have already run out of Discounted rooms yet.

If anyone does manage to a get a discount price (other than the 'regular' 10%) drop a reply in this thread please.

The quote I got for Sequoia Lodge for 20-23 December was nearly twice what we paid for the same period last year. Even if that were adjusted now to give 30% discount it would still be loads more than I was expecting.

I hope I am reading it right - AP holders get 10% off the Christmas dining with Mickey on 20th December?

Sorry, can't find the thread!

35% off 19Oct - 23Dec

I receive the French language version but assume the offer is the same

Hi, does anybody know if these discounts are now available over the phone yet? I am dying to book my december trip!!! :)

Hello Again,

Does anyone have any clue as to how they working out there pricing! - or is a 35% discount not a 35% discount???.

I ask because from previous calls I know that the 10% price quoted for a Seq. Lodge Montana room for the period 15th - 19th December is £441.36.

Knowing this was a 10% price, I calculated the starting point to have been £490.40. To get to this price no magical calculations were involved, I just kept trying numbers near the £500 range subtracting 10% until I get to £441.36!!!. Anyway enough of my lack of maths skills.

So - hearing that that period can attract a 35% discount - and using my 'starting point' price of £490.40, I calculate that the discounted (35%) would be £318.76 - a truely stunning price.....

....so I don't understand where I've gone wrong because the price being quoted by Disney (and I've tried 3 CMs) is £359.76.

Now - I'm not complaining at that price, but I just don't understand how I've got it so wrong.

So I just wondered does anyone understand how they calculate the pricing?.

Thanks

Iain

It's a complete secret. If they told you, they would have to kill you.:rotfl2:
Seriously - I was moaning the other day about the discount being less than £9 on a £655 bill. Somebody pointed out that there are lots of special offers on at the moment - so the full price could be a 4 Nights for the Price of 3 deal, which would make the discount less attractive. :confused3
