Entrances/Exits for Grand Californian?

Please help settle a question between DH and myself. Is there an entrance/exit between the GC and DTD?

A 2nd question: If you are staying at the GC, and want to go into DL before DCA opens, can you just walk through DCA to get to the DL main gates? Thanks!

yes theres a very convenient entrance from the lobby of GC to DTD and in terms of going through DCA to get to maingate that wont work to well becasue of the fact that they dont open at the same time DCA usually opens maybe 2 hrs after DL.

So where does the exit from GC to DTD end up? Near the monorail stop? I guess I'm trying to figure out if the GC is just as close to the monorail stop as the DLH. Thanks again!

it exits near build a bear so its just a 2 min walk from monorail

It's actually a little closer to walk to the main gates of the parks than to the monorail station, once you go into DTD from the GCH.

Can you also use it at park opening or is that only for hotel guests? We may have breakfast at Paradise Pier and I was hoping we could enter DCA from the GC instead of walking around to the front.

They "say" it is only for GCH guests, but again, I've never had a problem using that entrance. I haven't tried to go that way for park opening though. Maybe someone else here has.
