Entrance to fantasmic using dining package

The first time we did this we entered through a gate to the right of the entrance. Last year we were told to go to the main entrance by the side of Beauty & the Beast. We did this & it took ages to get through, I kept showing the pass & it was'nt untill we were near the top that the cm looked surprised & said to just follow the crowd to the right. We only just managed to get seated. Indeed we felt it was a waste of time having the pass. I was reading on another post that from 19 Sept you go through the gate between Beauty & the Beast & once upon a toy store. we went Aug , anyone else face this? did we get it wrong? server at Mama Melrose was adament?

We went in August and had the same problems that you had. I think they were trialling a new system of just using one queue. We just queue jumped and walked up the right hand side of the path making sure our passes were in our hand and very obvious - no one challenged us.

From what I've read they've reverted to having a separate queue for Fantasmic pass holders.
