Entire Wedding Plan just Changed!!!

Well for a couple of months now we have been planning an Escape Wedding at the Canada Pavillion with our close family and friends and I thought all was going well until a bunch of drama came out from both sides of our family so we are switching to the Memories Collection to include myself, my fiance, and my 3 kids ages 6,8,13. I am looking to see what everyone thinks about the available venue spaces since they are more limited than the Escape Package and for ideas on how to make this a really special Wedding/Honeymoon even though it will only be the 5 of us!

It's a really personal thing but I am not keen on conch key marina as I don't think the view or position is that great.

I prefer luau beach at the poly for its beautiful views and need for minimal decor.
Although I would probably go for sunrise terrace at wilderness lodge.

Your reception or day plans might also impact your choices?

I would splash out on a fireworks cruise if I were you so intimate but amazing experience!

Sorry meant to mention that sunrise terrace is more private and intimate that's why it would be my choice although I think it needs more decor.

If I was planning our VR now, I'd go with Sunrise Terrace.....

My husband and I are having a Memories Package vow renewal next month. We are having it at the Poly on Luau Beach. Afterwards we are having tea at the Grand Floridian (my mother-in-law was British and my husband grew up having tea every day and we both really enjoy going to a nice high tea.) For the tea, I have ordered a special fancy wedding cake that will be delivered to our table. I know it is just going to be the 4 of us (we have 2 children), but we'll have fun eating leftovers. That night for dinner we are going to Be Our Guest.

Other than dinner, I haven't planned a whole lot for that day. In fact, dinner might be the only time we go to the parks. We are just planning on enjoying being together, without the craziness of a park day.
