Entire Menu Available?????

Going to WDW in 58 days. We have the Dining plan with 1 QS and 1 Table Service meal. This is the same plan we had the first time we went (this is only our 2nd time going, were Disneylanders) and my wife was saying she remembers the entire menu wasn't available to the Dining Plan eaters. Meaning the higher up things were not available to order. I don't remember that, I remember the entire menu being available.

So which is it.....is the entire menu available to people with the Dining Plan, or only to a certain price level.

DH and I just returned from WDW and we were on that same dining plan ( 1 snack, 1 quick serve, 1 table serve ) . I do not remember any limitations as to what we could order , pretty much whatever was on the menu was mine for the asking We checked all of the menus out online before going and we knew just what we wanted before we even got there We split some of the meals ( because the serving size is so large ) and then had extra credits for other choices. Sometimes the server even brought our " split " meals on separate plates for us. Enjoy

There are some restaurants with some exclusions, but I don't remember what.

All the normal things are included. It's things that are 'meant for 2' that are typically excluded, but you could BOTH use your credit for it and it's not typically problem.

Example: On the DXDP my husband and I both chose the app for 2 at MM as our appetizer.

We had a signature meal at Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian. It was 2 credits apiece and it was totally wonderful! I had the Maine Lobster and NY Strip entree, ($72). I was afraid it was too expensive for the DDP, so I asked at the table. They said it was OK to order. They have a couple other entrees in that price area that look wonderful, too. Some entrees in the $30-$40 range would be OK if paying OOP, but not worth using 2 credits. The Almond Crusted Cheesecake is a must-try. Follow with watching MK fireworks from the balcony.

I agree with others, the menus are anything you see, you can order. There are some restaurants that have a prix fixe selection that you could order on the DDP, but some of these require you to kick in a little extra cash with your Dining Credit. Others don't require extra $ but are limited in selection/scope.
