I'd like to know if this plan is realistic for this Saturday evening at DLP:

7:45 - Magic, Memories, and You
8:40 - Fireworks
10:15 - Fantasmic!

Any viewing/location hints? I have read Hydroguy's Fantasmic! Viewing Hints.

Thanks!

The park will be somewhat crowded this weekend. 7/10 based on what I've read. Everything I think is reasonable based on your timing.

As for Fantasmic, I know that a lot of people like to see the show from the middle but quite honestly there's a great spot over by the entrance to Tom Sawyer's Island that I have found very useful. There's small area that slopes down towards the River so that you can actually see over the heads of the people in front of you. The only thing you really miss is the short Pinocchio segment and that's not that bad.

Have a great time!

If this is all you want to do in that time it should work out great.

Leave Small World plaza right after the show end, go down the parade route until it come into the hub, at 8 you can likely find spots front and center to watch the fireworks.

Between Fireworks and Fantasmic, F!, is only a little time, about 20 minutes. So view the fireworks from where you can see the Castle and Matterhorn, and also near a path kept open for access. This gives you a good view and a quick exit. Get up and going right as the fireworks end, and get on the access in front of the Castle. Try to stay ahead of the crowd. Either go in the Frontierland entrance and fight the exiting F! crowd from the first show, or go into Carnation Gardens Plaza. There is a pathway through buildings, past a restroom, that come out by Ranch Del Zocala. That way gets you behind the leaving F! crowd bypass the Frontierland entrance bottle neck.

the fireworks area (if you plan on seeing it by the castle) will already be crowded by the time memories magic and you start. That area by rivers of america wil be SLAMMED! That's why I always buy the desert thing I don't want to fight the crowds.

You can usually get viewing for the second Fantasmic! (10:15 in your case, it sounds like) after the fireworks, especially if the park isn't crazy-busy. My only concern is that Fantasmic! is coming back from a long hiatus, so it may be busier than usual. I imagine the first show will be really hectic, but hopefully the second will be OK. At the least, you should be able to find a place to stand somewhere.

Have a great trip!
